How to Use Rosewater:
:Skin:
Rose Water can be used daily to keep the skin hydrated, clear of blemishes and treat irritation. You will notice a lot less breakouts, even skin tone and super soft skin when using Rose Water daily. I have definitely seen the positive effects in my skin from using it on the daily. You can also spray your face in the morning before applying moisturizer and makeup and spray your face in the evening as a toner. You can also use it as a base for most of my at home facials. Its so refreshing!
:Spirituality:
Roses have always been the primordial symbol of love, passion and femininity. In magical spells, Roses are used for love rituals to attract love. It is also good to use to clear out any space of stagnant and low energy.
Also, the use of Rose Water daily, by doing a full body spritz, will enhance self empowerment, purification of thoughts and also encourages passion for dreams, goals and suppressed imaginations. It will truly help you step into your inner Goddess.
:Aromatherapy:
The scent of rosewater will help reduce feelings of stress and promote an ambiance of tranquility and harmony. Keep a bottle of Rose Water on your desk (at home & work), in your purse, and/ or on your nightstand to help keep me calm.
Using Rosewater in this way helps to remember to breathe and refocus your thoughts throughout the day, literally like they say “stop and smell the roses”. The scent of roses helps calm and balance emotional stresses and depression.
You can also spray your sheets and pillows before bed to help you fall asleep and a calm your mind before going to sleep.
The Recipe:
1-2 Roses
Distilled Water
Vodka
Bowl
Pot
Mason Jar
Spray Bottle
Optional:
Florida Water
First, create a sacred space, light a few candle and incense and put on some soothing or empowering music. Be sure to have all of your utensils to prepare. Start boiling the water needed as well. It’s nice to do this in the evening because it has to seep over night.
You want to then take your roses and peel off the petals into a bowl. Rip the petals into pieces while setting an intention or repeating an affirmation that truly empowers you. Also, give them thanks and give gratitude to anything you are grateful for.
Next, take a mason jar and place the pieces of rose petals at the bottom. Pour the hot distilled water over the petals.
Cover after about 15 minutes and seep over night. You can set a rose quartz or favorite crystal next to it while it seeps. You can set in the fridge if you like.
The next day you want to take your spray bottle and fill it with 75% Rosewater 25% Florida Water and a cap full of vodka to preserve it for the next 3-4 weeks.

Enjoy!
