How To Make the Best Of Social Distancing.

Social distancing is such an interesting concept especially for this day and age, EVEN THOUGH It’s totally necessary due to the circumstances the world is under today. It may not be the most ideal situation especially since the weather is breaking, but we have to make the best of it! Check out some tips below on how to maybe enjoy social distancing!

Get in the kitchen!

I feel like this is the most I have ever cooked in my life! Literally, breakfast, lunch and dinner… every day. It’s a lot when you want the perfect meal but hey, I’m trying to make the best of it. Trying new nourishing dishes and delicious desserts recipes can help you practice your cooking and add new recipes to your repertoire.

 Level Up Your Self-Care!

Now is the best time to try new self-care rituals. Instead of or in addition to, add taking a bath soak to your morning ritual or after your workout instead of the normal shower. Add some essential oils of your choice and/or Epsom salt. That combo can be super rejuvenating. Try new DIY facial masks and hair treatments as well. Now is the time to have fun and indulge in your self-care.

Use Your Resources!

During this time, everything is closed but entrepreneurs everywhere are using their resources to reach you. There’s no reason to slack off at working out because trainers everywhere are doing training sessions via online. Take part in meditations and yoga flows too that are now streaming online from yogis and healers all over. DJ’s and artists are bringing the club and live concerts to our living rooms. Take advantage of this new normal to help this time pass.   

Bring Peace to Your Mind!

Now is the time to really hone in on your meditation, journaling and overall mindfulness. It may feel like a task to take out time in our everyday life to journal or meditate but you have the time now! Instead of scrolling in the a.m., light some sage or smudging tool of choice or light some incense and write out what’s on your mind, meditate and be in the now.

Zoom, Zoom, Zoom Make My Heart Go Boom Boom!

Zoom has become our friend in this whole “Social Distancing” thing. My sister even had a Zoom Brunch on Saturday with her friends. Use Zoom to connect with your friends and loved ones in a group setting. Have a good laugh and make sure everyone you love is safe!

Let’s Think About The Planet.

Unfortunately, our plans have been put to a halt but let’s consider the time that we are staying in. With us not  traveling and driving this is helping keep pollutants out of the air. Once we are able to leave the house just image how clean the air will be, especially in our major cities. Perfect for our overall health and skin!
